Editors Note: If you are a subscriber, you now know about this great “business in a box” solution of starting you own iPhone repair business.  I’ve asked Daniel to provide a guest post for my blog.  I’m so blown away by the quality of the business and how quickly and easy it is to get going.  Now, his business in a box isn’t free, but I think its HUGE value, very little risk and you can start right away.   I love his real life example!!  (Update: I asked Daniel if he could give my readers a little something extra, since I know your serious about starting a small business.  He agreed to offer a 10% discount and 3 additional consulting sessions but only until this Sunday, or until he fills 10 new customers.  After that, the offer will be gone.  Since there is one on one coaching, he can only take so many  clients at one time.  Please use promo code YOURNEWSTARTUP at  checkout.)

Hi, Daniel Vitiello here from United iPhone Repair. I fell down the iPhone repair rabbit hole when I first broke and repaired my own iPhone. Seeing a business opportunity, I started my own home based iPhone repair business, and since then have fixed thousands of iPhones with every problem imaginable. The road was not easy as I had to learn on trial and error, and mistakes cost me thousands. Realizing that I had gathered so much experience and made every mistake and learned every trick possible, it was a logical step to publish this knowledge so others won’t have to spend the time and money learning the same things I already have! I created this company to help individuals replicate my business’s success out of their own homes and currently have 11 locations operating all around the US.

Starting a home based iPhone repair business is the perfect option for a number of reasons. The first being that it takes such a small initial investment to get started compared to other business opportunities. We supply you with all the necessary information, parts, tools, forms and pre made advertisements that you need to run the business. These things would take weeks to put together if you were starting from scratch.

The second reason is that you can literally work as much or as little as you want. Advertising as little as 2 hours a week can bring in 3 to 5 phones every evening and you always have the option to do something else like go out to dinner and tell customers that your “closed” that day.

The third thing that makes repairing iPhones a phenomenal business is that the repairs are for the most part easy to do once you learn them correctly. Most people can pick up the most common repairs within 3 to 4 hours of practice. If you can work a screw driver then we can teach you to fix an iPhone. Once you get past that point its easy money.

Heres an example of one of our locations:

Dan and Kris both work full time jobs. They have a voicemail system set up to handle calls during the day while they are at work. In the evening they go about their normal routine cooking dinner, watching TV and enjoying the family. The only difference is the doorbell rings 3 to 5 times per night, and when it does they answer it and fix a customers phone. The most common cracked screen repair takes 5 minutes to do and then they are back to whatever they had previously been doing. This equates to roughly $750 to $1250 of extra income per week if you repair phones 5 days a week.

Would you be willing to give up 20 – 45 minutes of your time each evening for $4,000 a month?

If the answer is yes then you should be running a home based iPhone repair business.

What a great model I think this is a great solution for owning your own business.

    1. After the initial investment your monthly costs solely depend on the amount of business you are doing. Simple enoungh.

    2. This is perfect for a weekend / afternoon job which everyone is looking for.

    3. It helps introduce people who may not be technically inclined into a technology driven industry. Putting together your first computer is really a simple accomplishment that only takes a little research. This seems to be the same process except Daniel has already done the research.

I was using United iPhone Repair for parts repair as a test run for a couple of weeks.  All was well and I was about to make the plunge to get my own business started with their help, then suddenly the store went down for maintenance.  I waited a few days and then received an email response that my last order had been canceled and received a refund.  Turns out that they have been shut down by Apple.  Not sure if it is a power struggle thing due to Apple wanting the aftermarket parts to fail or if it’s a counterfeit parts related issue.  Nevertheless, time to look for another supplier.
